We got a couple of free movie tickets from some friends of ours (thanks J &
C!), so we decided to go see "The Avengers". Our pastor mentioned a scene
between the Hulk and Loki, the villan of the movie. (If you're a comic book fan
like we are, you'll love the movie. If you didn't hear the sermon, just go to www.alcf.net later in the week and look up "Last
Weekend's Sermon".) Without giving it away, the Hulk does something that leads
to his classic line from the comics - Hulk Smash!
It gives me a visual of what I'll need to do during the upcoming weeks. I'm starting this book called "I'd Rather Do Chemo Than Clean Out the Garage". The subtitle is
"Choosing Laughter Over Tears", so I'm sure this is going to be funny. Me? I'm
choosing Jesus over fear and sickness (2 Timothy 1:7).
